For our trailer we made 2 production titles using Sony Vegas instead of Adobe as we had more complex knowledge of this software so could achieve something that looked far more professional. Of all the action trailers we had watched the majority had 2 rather than 3 or 4 and so we thought this was the best number, although we had two production titles from last year one was a blood splatter so was overtly horror based and the other was very basic. We wanted to stretch ourselves and create production titles that placed our trailer well within the action genre.
Aspire Productions: This was the same fake production company that we used last year but changed it from text appearing on a blood splatter to a train in the iconic city of London certifying this ios an action trailer. We took inspiration from Lakeshore Entertainment's production title and had our image of a train freeze frame flash in black and white and grow smaller revealing the text "aspire productions" behind it. The finished product looks very good and compliments our trailer very well.
This was arguably one of the most fun and interesting parts of making the trailer as we had free reign to do whatever we wanted and be as creative as we liked and make it as complex as we pleased. There were dozens of iconic, amazing production titles such as Universal, Paramount, 20th Century Fox, Warner Brothers and Dream works, all individual and all creative so it was good fun watching some of these and having the time to make our own.
